Project Overview
Salt Meadows is a development of houses and flats from Islandbridge Properties, situated in the mouth of the River Blackwater in Essex, an area known for its salt marshes.
The Gaia team were approached by Islandbridge Properties to work on the initial tender and designs for installing underfloor heating in this development. We were then put in touch with the provider of M&E works for the project, Morgan Cass.
We designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a boiler-fed wet underfloor heating system, with pipes installed to ground floor of all houses, and 20mm overlay on the first floors of the flats.
Our team also supplied additional manifolds and thermostats for the radiators on the first floors which helped to standardise the heating controls across both floors, making the heating system easier for homeowners to use.
We collaborated with both Islandbridge Properties and Morgan Cass throughout the development, including working alongside Morgan Cass to create homeowner packs for Islandbridge Properties to provide to the future residents of the new homes.
