Project Overview
Taylor Wimpey’s new residential development in Barham, Suffolk features 257 high quality two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes surrounded by green open space.
Following new regulations – which are due to make gas boilers unsuitable for future homes – the construction firm used air source heat pumps in their new residential build.
As the development is local to Gaia HQ, we made contact with Taylor Wimpey to offer a full design and quotation for installing wet underfloor heating to be used alongside air source heat pumps in the new homes.
When combined, wet underfloor heating and air source heat pumps boost efficiency and provide a more comfortable and cost-effective heating solution.
We designed the underfloor heating for the ground floors of the 257 houses and will continue to supply, install and commission the systems as the developer releases more plots, in line with the schedule of works.
Our expert team streamlined the process for all parties involved and met the high-quality standards set at the start of the project.
