Project Overview
High Street Quarter is a residential development in Hounslow, London, intended to incite future regeneration in the area.
The £210 million scheme features 528 residential properties with a mixture of affordable, shared ownership and rental units.
As part of our long-standing partnership with Woodford Heating – and our impressive track record of completing projects with Barratt London Developments – we were selected to install underfloor heating systems in the High Street Quarter development.
As an approved installer of the Polypipe wet underfloor heating system, our experienced Gaia team provided full design, supply, installation and commissioning of the systems for the development.
At the mid-point of the project, the developer made alterations to floor structure. We played a key role in facilitating this change as our in-house design team integrated a cradle and batten solution into the underfloor heating design to successfully incorporate the modification.
This installation involved a mixture of wet underfloor heating in screed and in aluminium plates fitted to cradle and batten.
Our underfloor heating now provides the development’s 528 residential properties with energy-efficient and cost-effective heating which warms residents’ homes from the ground up.
