Project Overview
Located in North West London, the Grahame Park project involves regenerating a 1970s housing estate. It includes a mixture of social rented and shared ownership homes as well as green communal spaces.
We were appointed to assist the contractors as they delivered the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating for the development.
From the early stages of the project, the experienced Gaia team delivered the design, supply and installation of the underfloor heating systems for the development.
We provided full design layouts and outputs to be incorporated within the consultant’s existing design. This included wet underfloor heating pipes installed into screed, complete with heat interface units.
Due to services constraints within the floor, we offered an overlay solution in some of the apartments, enabling the underfloor heating systems to be run throughout the space.
Additionally, we helped reduce the flow temperatures of the systems to optimise performance and boost efficiency.
